Linda, there are two doodles in Salisbury, NC listed on PetFinder. Beautiful light chocolate color. There is a male and a female available.

You are welcome! I know how it is to be searching for one everywhere. Contact iDog and put in an application with them to. They are great to work with! They have a cute one in GA now, but he may be too big for you.

Linda,
I found him on PetFinder.som. (actually the listing was on DRRC and that is where I saw it.) Jacquie is very good about posting everyday! Marlow is a standard size goldendoodle. He is pretty big, but such a goofy, happy-go-lucky dog and we couldn't resist him! He was listed with a rescue in CA, and when I wrote to them I thought we would have to drive there. They wrote back and said that he was actually in Phoenix, which was perfect! I have seen several in NC listed, lots in GA it seems and TN has quite a few around Nashville. Use "searchtempest.com" to search craigslist. Put in your zipcode and how many miles you want to search away from you. Under search options drop down box select community, and sub category should be pets. Then trype in labradoodle or goldendoodle as the key word. I found several dogs this way, but was usually too late to get them. Just missed one the week before I got Marlow! If there is a local Golden or Lab Retreiver rescue, contact them and tell them you are looking for doodle and put an application in. Let the local shelters know and they will sometimes call you when one comes in. Just be persistent! Good Luck!

Hi Linda, I can vouch that you will find a doodle if you are patient! I just adopted one two weeks ago. (By the way, I am originally from NC.) Welcome to the site!

Linda, I sent you an email on your private address on the other questions you asked. Please let us know if we can help further. You can find the IDOG application on the main Doodles in Need page and ours is below.

For the Doodles in Need group listings, click on the link with the dog you are interested in and follow the Petfinder directions for filling out those applications. Fill out several, get approved and increase your chances. Check back often as the listings are updated a few times a week. Good Luck!
