Darene, , we are trying to put together a group of folks from around the country who would be interested in helping us monitor Petfinder and other sites in their areas, call shelters and contact us when a dog is in danger. If this is something you might be interested in, please send me a private message letting me know that you're interested.

You haven't been on in awhile so let me know if you are still interested in helping in rescue. Lynne

It would take about 1/2 to 1 hour or so every day or every other day. Most time would be online, some calling shelters.
Do you have a Long Distance Phone Plan?
Can you stay calm on phone with shelter (sometimes nasty) people?
Are you fairly competent on the computer?
That's about it as far as requirements, patience is #1.
