A brief RRC Founders Statement - 

I wanted to make a brief statement to allegations made on another social forum in the past week & then "put them all to rest" & be done with it. As many of you may know & for those of you who do not, there used to be a rescue that was run out of our website. I was co-founder, Vice President & Treasurer of that organization. My resignation was entered on May 9, 2010 from that organization & they have since begun their own website to continue their activities. You can find it by googling "doodle rescue." That said, I & other's who were not happy with the direction of & decisions made by that rescue began to re-build this site in June. As we re-create & re-define this organization, our goal going forward is to be the largest & most complete Oodle/Poodle/Doodle/Schnoodle Listing Resource available for people looking to adopt. We plan to work with breeders & rehomers who are looking for the best home they can for their dog(s) that they must give up because of various reasons which are not ours to judge. WE ARE NOT A RESCUE, NOR ARE WE A IRS 501(c)3 NON-PROFIT & we have no plans of becoming, either. We are not doing this to become rich, pay our phone bills or profit in any way. We do this because we love this "breed" of dog & we love what we are doing. I have some of the most wonderful, honest, caring & loving people working with me on this endeavor, that I know we will be here for many years to come. Jeannine, Susan, Deb, Sue & Judy are the most knowledgeable searchers, rescuers & the best of friends. I am proud to be working with them. If you have questions or need help, these are the people to go to. So, I hope this explains some of our roots & we will be putting ALL of it behind us & moving forward. Look for some BIG announcements in the future & remember WE ALWAYS NEED SEARCHERS & POSITIVE PEOPLE TO HELP OTHERS find their forever friend.
