Mission Statement

Oodles of Doodles, Inc Rescue Collective is a not-for-profit rescue devoted to rescue, foster and finding loving permanent homes for Oodle Dogs: Poodle-mixes, Doodles: Labradoodles, Goldendoodles, Cockapoos, Schnoodles and Fuzzy Terriers from shelters, other rescues and rehome situations.

Description

Our foster partners assume the responsibility of pulling from the shelter, socializing, feeding, vetting and preparing their foster dog for their new Forever Homes. Dogs are advertised on our website, our Petfinder site (NJ656) and out Adopt-a-Pet Site, applications are taken, references are called, homes are checked and the best home for the needs of the dog, is found. We pull from many Southern Kill Shelters and transport to safety to loving foster homes and aid families who might need to rehome their dogs due to unforeseen circumstances.

Our Adoption Donations range from $200 to $425 and ALL proceeds go toward pulling, transporting, vetting, feeding and supporting the dogs in our program.

Fuzzy Critters of SWVA is a not-for-profit rescue devoted to saving kill shelter animals in the Wise County, VA area.

Oodles of Doodles Rescue Resource Collective is a not-for-profit website devoted to listing and finding homes for Oodle Dogs: Poodle-mixes, Doodles, Schnoodles, waiting in shelters and rescues across North America. It has been operating since January, 2009 under the original name: Doodle Rescue & Resource Collective, Doodle Rescue Collective and changed to Oodles of Doodles Rescue Collective in June, 2010. Our volunteers scour Petfinder and other adoption sites to bring these dogs to one location for adopters to search and find their Forever Friend. Our members are either seeking to adopt an Oodle Dog or already have and use our forum to discuss rescue issues, behavior problems, successes and sorrows. We aid those needing to rehome their dogs because of various reasons, to ensure no Oodle dies in a shelter.
