Can you explain to me what the red flag ingredients mean? What ingredients are not good in it?

Also the * before avg. rating dog?

I put the star on those products that were not at least 4 paws. If you notice sometimes the kibble is 4 paws, but the can is less.

As far as the red flag ingredients, in some cases the company did not answer Petsumer Reports back in their inquiry. In some cases, it could not be determined where the ingredients came from.

My feelings are, if a company is not forthcoming and if there is not full disclosure, I won't use the product.
