I just changed my cause to The Rescue Collective! I did not think to change it before. I am sure there are others like me, who just need to change the "cause" to this page!

Thank You, Julia. I am probably the other shopper on the Rescue Collective IGive account. I didn't know the old account was, well not being used by us anymore. I appreciate everyone who signs up for this to help us keep going. It's really easy to do, also.

On the Home page, right column is the IGive box, just click on that, sign up and specify Rescue Collective as your cause. Then every time you search or shop, we get a donation from the merchant. Again, Thank You for the suggestion, Julia and Thank You to every one who signs up.

I have a suggestion that I have made before, when Rescue Collective started with Doodle. I have the iGive.com toolbar resident on my computer. I had my "cause" listed as DoodleRescueCollective from March - June. In that time I shopped and searched enough to accrue over $40.00 in donations for the DRC. I recently (abt 3 weeks ago) realized I needed to CHANGE my "cause" to RESCUE COLLECTIVE so they would benefit from my on line shopping and searching habits. I shop frequently on ebay and amazon and it adds up. I noticed that there are only TWO (2) Rescue Collective supporters using iGive.

If you don't already have the iGive Toolbar set up on your computer, please consider adding it. You don't have to do anything but install it and let it remain on your computer. iGive does everything else. It even knows when I am shopping and tracks the purchase for me and collects the funds and sends the check to Rescue Collective from time to time. EVERY little bit helps and sometimes we purchase something big and we get $$$ contributed.
