Happy Rehome Stories

We have been helping people rehome their dogs, safely and honestly for over 2 years. Our goal has been to keep dogs where they are the most comfortable, to keep them off "Free the a Good Home" or Craigslist ad and to work with the rehomer and adopter to find the perfect home, so that this is the last home, for that dog.

We are VERY proud of this service and as of this writing, we have helped to rehome over 125 dogs through our Rehome Service. We have worked with families, breeders and other rescues to ensure these dogs find the Perfect Home. There have been a few sad stories, but overwhelmingly, this service has been such a source of pride and we would like to share some of the Happy Rehome Tales, here.

Hi Lynne,
Annie just spent the day with a family. They love her and we know they would be great.  But WE had second thoughts before Christmas and told the applicants we were waiting until after the holidays but this man was persistent so we decided to correspond and meet. We are still unsure and torn about rehoming her. Not sure what to do. But after your hand-holding and encouragement to listen to our hearts, we have decided to keep Annie where she belongs. We are going to put everything on hold for now and try to work this out.
Thank you for all the time you spent listening to me.

Kim

Thank you for helping me with Lexi. Being so close to rehoming, finally made my husband realize how much he loved her and we regrouped as a family to make it work. New trainer and new dog daycare will hopefully help because she loves her 2 three yr old human brothers and didn't want a new home. Thank you for helping us understand that she belongs with us. Jen

(Sometimes the family decides to keep the dog and make it work. We love that outcome)

I wanted to let you know that Biscuit has been adopted. We found the perfect home in Upstate NY.

Thank you so much for this service,

Julie, Biscuit's former owner.
