Meet Isabelle

We need to find a new home for our dog, Isabel.

Isabel is a  45 pound, nine year old poodle /schnauzer. A Schnoodle.

She is a smart, pretty dog, who is very loving to adults, especially women.  She plays well with other dogs (we have an older poodle, as well)

She is completely housebroken and will respond to commands like “sit” and “down”.

However, she does not like young children. We have a 6 year old who likes Isabel a little too much.

Isabel does not appreciate her attentions and, because of this, we are having Isabel boarded while she waits for her new home.

Isabel has developed a yeast allergy from eating dog food with grain in it, so she needs to stay on grain free dog food or she gets chronic ear infections. 

Isabel is spayed and up to date on her shots. 

She is fine with other dogs. 

Since we have been boarding her, we did try her with cats, to see how she’d respond. 

She’s fine with them….although she really didn’t care, one way or the other.

She is used to a fenced in yard but has been walked her on a leash and she’s ok with it, but she’s hardly ever on it anymore, so she’d need some time to get used to it again. A fenced yard is preferred but will be looked at on a case by case basis.

Family is willing to transport to the Northeast.
