Meet Daisy - ADOPTED

Daisy is a 4.5 year old Labradoodle. She is very good with older children – but is nervous with young and/or very active children. Daisy LOVES cats and is fine with other dogs; and
is crate, inside the house-, car-, and leash- trained.

Daisy’s only negatives are that she jumps when she is excited and will counter surf if there is yummy food left out. But these can be overcome with time, patience and training.

Daisy is an absolutely lovely girl inside and out. She needs a family without little children. She is calm in the house but does need moderate activity. It is essential that she go to a
woman who understands this and has a history with dogs. She is loving to everyone in the house and is a family dog but she needs a woman to be "her" person, to whom she will calmly follow around the house. She
knows many commands and once she is bonded, she has excellent recall. She has a marvelous spirit and personality, is a little silly, with boundless love and
affection, and is very, very smart – true to her poodle side. She loves chasing
squirrels and other yard rodents which is the Retriever in her. She loves
hiking and the dog park.

Daisy was retired as a breeder dog just six weeks ago. She spent most of her life breeding and had very little exposure to anyone but the breeder's family. While they have a good reputation
as breeders, they didn't expose her to anything beyond her kennel and the yard.
Daisy’s family has spent the last month introducing her to as much of the world
as they can - and she loves it! She bonds quickly to women and needs a woman
who can confidently show her even more.

Spayed, UTD on shots, excellent health.

She is 75% poodle / 25% Lab so should be fine with allergy sufferers. She is about 40 lbs. and about 20" tall, so she is probably a Med. LD.

Daisy needs a home without small children.

The ideal home would have older children or a single active female who has experience with dogs and has training experience or is willing to continue Daisy’s training. A fenced yard is
preferred.

Adoption Fee: $300.
