Roosevelt was pulled from a shelter in PA after being surrendered by his family, adopted and then returned because he was "too high energy." He was scared and having a tough time of it in the shelter so the shelter manager called us and Roo came here, to be fostered with my family.

I had absolutely no trouble with him. "Roosevelt" was too much of a mouthful, so I started calling him Roo. I found him to be sweet and lovable, liked to play and run around the yard with my pack. He was underweight but started putting it on, Thanks to homecooking. He gained confidence and was a pleasure to foster.

Member Cynthia Stadler adopted Roo and they are living in Virginia. His new name is Rudy.

Happy Tails, Rudy!

These are pics, Cynthia sent me today. He looks like he is HOME!

Hi Lynne!

I hope your year has started off well with your pack.  Rudy has become a clown in the family; he is a prankster.  He likes to do things for fun to get one of us involved and play with him.  Libby plays the game too!  He is a funny dog.  As you can see in the picture, he has grown, about 55 pounds now.

Your pack has grown, too.  Another cutie!

All the best,

What a sweet happy doodle! I love when you have upgrade like that. Another save and loved boy saved because of you!! You're the best foster mom!!
Roo/Rudy is one of my fosters who really touched my heart. I love hearing how well he is doing. He was so neglected and sad when he first came to me. I am so glad he's happy, now.
